Welcome to the UPSIDES community platform. UPSIDES stands for Using Peer Support In Developing Empowering Mental Health Services. The UPSIDES community platform serves as a point of contact and exchange for the trainers and Peer Support Workers (PSWs) during the UPSIDES main study (2020 to 2021). It’s a space which aims  to help you with any problems or questions that arise during the training or intervention. You will also find out about novelties in UPSIDES training and peer support and be informed of new modules and modifications. So it is easy to stay up to date!

The UPSIDES online platform consists of a library, a forum for PSWs and trainers and a network area. The library provides materials compiled during and after the UPSIDES project. The forum is a space for sharing experiences, discussions, and questions. The network area provides an overview of the various networking and communication possibilities with UPSIDES.

We are constantly striving to further develop this online platform. The more you can help, contribute and make suggestions to the design, the more valuable it will be for all of us! If you have any suggestions for improving this platform, please let us know via the contact form.

After the completion of UPSIDES, the UPSIDES community platform will be further developed in order to facilitate the training of further UPSIDES peer support trainers all over the world. This way, UPSIDES Peer Support can be long-term and sustainably implemented in low-, middle- and high-income countries.
